GPTfy Release Notes 1.8.1

Release Date: 15-Aug-2024

New Features

Prompt Builder

Redesigned interface for improved usability. Prompts can now be tested directly within the builder without publishing, allowing faster iteration by Prompt Engineers.

Prevent Token Size Spillover

GPTfy estimates token size before calling the AI model. If the estimated size exceeds the model’s capacity, the call is prevented to avoid errors.

Support for 2 Million+ Token Size AI Models

File-based processing is now used to support new AI models with large token capacities (over 2 million tokens), improving handling of large data volumes.

Support for Dynamic Locale

Dates and numbers are now formatted based on the user's locale for better readability. This is also supported in AI Mass Processing, even across records owned by different users.

File Processing Guardrails

Admins can define limits for file-based prompts—restricting file count, size, and type to ensure safe and optimized AI processing.

Support for AWS LlaMA

GPTfy now supports Meta’s LlaMA models hosted on AWS or any other standards-based platform.

Process Salesforce History Records

You can now include Salesforce History Objects as child objects in Data Context Mapping—applicable to Standard, Custom, and Managed Package objects with field tracking.

Preferences Tab

Admins can configure GPTfy preferences directly in the UI via the new Preferences tab—no need to access Custom Settings.

Custom Hourly Cost Definition

You can define your organization’s average hourly cost for more accurate ROI savings calculations in GPTfy reports.

Enhancements

Snowflake Integration

Optimized integration with Snowflake via Salesforce Lightning (OData-based) connector.

Data Retention Optimization

  • Granular purge options allow selective retention of important audit records.
  • A new scheduler modal simplifies scheduling retention jobs, removing the need for Cron expressions.

Query Builder Enhancements

Used across:

  • Data Retention
  • Data Context Mapping
  • AI Mass Processing
  • Prompt Visibility

Features:

  • SOQL syntax validation
  • ORDER BY and LIMIT clauses supported

AI Callout Timeout Enhancements

Security Audit records are now created for timeouts. Timeout details are logged under related exceptions.

GPTfy User Console Optimization

  • Large Responses: Vertical scrollbar appears for lengthy responses.
  • Disqualified Prompts: Disabled GPTfy button with tooltip explaining prompt ineligibility.

Security Audit Optimization

  • Formatted Responses: View both rendered and raw HTML in the Response tab.
  • Improved Layout: Better field visibility and organization.

Account Activities Support

Account-linked activities can now be extracted using enhanced Data Context Mapping.

FeedItem as Child Support

FeedItem (Chatter) can be mapped as a child to any standard, custom, or managed object where it’s enabled.

API Data Source for Mass Processing

Support for custom pre-/post-processing logic via API Data Source, even during bulk operations.

Improved Fault Tolerance for AI Response Data Types

Improved parsing of inconsistently formatted values (e.g., numbers in quotes) for accurate Salesforce field updates.

Security Layer Optimization

  • Regex Filters: Optimized execution order for better performance and fewer conflicts.
  • Blocklist Filters: Now case-insensitive.

UI Guardrails and Validations

  • Inaccessible FeedItem fields are now hidden in the UI to avoid SOQL errors.
  • Duplicate AI Models prevented during prompt import.
  • Gmail plugin shows warnings for missing attachments when Include Files is true.
  • Optional timestamp prefix for JSON responses.
  • Consistent scheduler windows across prompt operations.

Bug Fixes

  • Usage Tracking Dates: Fixed incorrect start/end dates in Usage Tracking Detail records.
  • Prompt Reinstatement: Restoring older prompt versions no longer changes the prompt name.
  • ROI Dashboard Metric: ROI card now shows the correct savings amount.
  • Post-Install Scripts: Data Context Mapping records are now created in active state after install.
  • Query Builder: Number literals now treated as numeric types.
  • Prompt Catalog: Prompt names are now read-only to prevent sync issues with folders.
  • REST API Prompt Errors: Clearer error messages when user input is missing.
  • AI Model Record Deletion: Deletes dependent records along with AI Model.
  • Prompt Activation: Fixed error when child-object prompt updated parent field.

Known Issues

  • Gmail Plugin Access: Sample Visualforce component in the Gmail plugin does not work for Standard Users. Creating a new, identical Visualforce component resolves this issue.

We’re always working to make things even better!
