Consideration for version upgrade from 1.7 to 1.8.1

Important Notes for Upgrading GPTfy​

When upgrading from the old version to the new one, there are a few important things to keep in mind listed below.
These steps are crucial whether you’re upgrading in our own org or for a client.

ROI Dashboard​

  • Go to View Report → Edit → click the Gear Icon
  • Choose Money Saved → Save and Run
  • Repeat the same steps for Saving by Profile, Object, and Role

Import Prepackaged Cards​

Import the Card configurations from the attached file GPTfy 1.8 Cards.json, which includes all the prepackaged cards like:

  • AI Model
  • API Data Source
  • Prompt Catalogs

Prompt Builder​

If the org has been using our Flexi Page as default, then the Prompt Builder will be shown as expected.

If not:

  • Go to Prompt
  • Open any prompt
  • Click Edit Page
  • Add the Prompt Component
  • Activate and Save

Prompt Object Picklist​

  • Go to Prompt object in Object Manager
  • Edit the Type picklist
  • Remove the picklist value Custom from there

Lightning Record Page Layout​

When upgrading the package, layout changes are applied to the Lightning Record Page included in the package.
To ensure users see the updates:

  • Make sure the Managed Package Lightning Page is assigned
  • Do not use a custom page
